Oscars 2013

The awards ceremony that we have all been eagerly waiting for, the Oscars, took place in tinseltown yesterday and of course the news was all about Jennifer Lawrence and her mini fall when she went to collect her Oscar. This is the second time a Dior dress has caused Jennifer Lawrence to have either a costume mishap or in this case a fall and shows how 'normal' she is. Let's be honest who hasn't fallen over or had a costume mishap because of a dress, it is nothing to be embarrassed about and it made me like the actress even more!

Who wore what?
Let's get to the fashion. Many stars opted for nude and white colours, with the odd breeze of colour and of course black.

Jennifer Lawrence opted for Dior Haute Couture and looked lovely.

Charlize Theron opted for a statuesque look in Dior. I do like this look.

This is not my favourite look of Anne Hathaway who opted for Prada.

Amanda Seyfried opted for Alexander McQueen.

Kristen Stewart opted for Reem Acra.

Jessica Chastain looked a lot like a glam Jessica Rabbit in Armani.

Amy Adams opted for Oscar de la Renta.

Nicole Kidman was another star that opted for a blinged out gown in L'Wren Scott.

Naomi Watts dazzled in Armani Prive.

You couldn't miss Halle Berry in Atelier Versace.

I like this Elie Saab gown on Sandra Bullock.

Salma Hayek looked great in Alexander McQueen.

Adele opted for Jenny Packham.

Jennifer Aniston opted for a red Valentino gown.

Reese Witherspoon brought a pop of colour to the red carpet in Louis Vuitton.

The colour of this Gucci gown looks great on Jennifer Garner and the actress does look good but I am not a major fan of the gown and all those ruffles.
